Tuesday Quick Tip

These Boots Are Made For Walking . . . all the way through spring that is.

SpringBootsAlthough the snow is melting (hopefully) and the sun is beginning to shine, it’s not necessary time to get out those boot shapers (you saw this right? These are a MUST!) quite yet., wear them into spring!

SpringBoots2Back to shorts, skirts, dresses and denim – this shoe style isn’t ready for hibernation just yet! Sometimes styles keep working!

I would like to learn more about how you would dress a more mature professional. Much of what I see on your site is for young women. I do like trendy. Wear boots with skirts and love skinny jeans but of course am consious about not dressing too young for my age.

      Hi Jan,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Interpreting trends to be age appropriate can often be tricky business. We feel that balancing the proportions is key to keeping your overall look age appropriate. For instance, when wearing skinny jeans or pants, opt of a longer or looser fitting top. A fitted top with a blazer works nicely as well. Skirts can either be worn with opaque tights during the colder months or with flowy tops when the temperatures warm to off set the length of the skirt. We can always offer more in depth tips via a style consult with one of our stylists.
