Transition into Spring with Cozy Layers
As the weather changes, so does our wardrobe. For a lot of cities, the approach of spring means a confusing mix of snow, rain and sunshine. This can make deciding what to wear a challenge. Fortunately, there is an answer. At the T+P headquarters in San Francisco, the ever changing, micro-climates of Northern California have made us experts in the art of layering. Seeing as the weather here can go from 45 degrees with icy cold ocean breezes to 70 degrees and sunny in about 3 miles, we have resigned ourselves to being “the land of the light jacket”. That being said, layering is not only stylish, it’s a great way to come prepared for all kinds of weather.
Layering is easy, just remember this simple rule: Layer up. Meaning start with the thinnest, lightest garment and move up in weight and thickness from there. That way you avoid the too bulky look. The best part about layers? As the weather gets warmer, you just keep peeling them off! Utilitarian styling at its best.
