Room into An Outfit
I was so inspired by this beautiful room in the Sunday New York Times by Doug Aitkens that I decided to turn it into an outfit. Start with a bold leafy patterned short, a touch of tangerine (the color of the year after all!) and top off with wood accents.
Bold prints work best in small quantities, so I started with these adorable Milly shorts. To keep the look polished and cocktail ready, I added a seersucker Theory blazer. Seersucker is a great fabric to use for mixing patterns since it’s visually pretty light. Add that bright touch of tangerine with this gorgeous bag by Sam Edelman. Zad bangles and the new Toms wedges keep the look grounded with modern neutrals. This look is perfect for drinks and dinner al fresco in the warm summer breeze.
