We at T+P would like to dedicate this Friday’s post to one of Fashion’s greats, Oscar de la Renta. The master of the ball gown, de la Renta was born in 1932 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Trained by Cristobal Balenciaga himself, Oscar de la Renta went on to become famous for his designs for Jackie Kennedy in the 1960’s. In his long and illustrious career, de la Renta went on to work for Lanvin and Balmain, and dressed countless celebrities.
