Maureen’s Spring/Summer Must-Haves

5.02.2013 WRITTEN BY Maureen Inspiration, Just for Fun, T+P Blog Central

I’m a beach girl at heart so any style that requires a tan speaks to me. The beauty of a spring/summer wardrobe is the effortlessness it exudes. Pieces that invade my everyday looks include oversized maxis, open back and sheer tops with pops of bright bikini tops peeking though, colored pants (always a size up) back to slouchy sweaters, short shorts with flowy tops, head-to-toe white, and, always something on my head or in my hair – a fedora, floral crown or head piece. I channel what I believe would be chic in St. Tropez and add my California spin on it. I also can’t live without deep v-neck shirts, a chambray top and a floor length flowy skirt.

With style that has to go from sand to the streets, I love a look that can be thrown over a bathing suit and still speak to my stylish side. During these months you can always find a pair of flat sandals AND wedges in my beach bag along with my go-to lip color and a wand of YSL blue mascara.

Of course beach waves and a freckled face are my favorite accessories (next to the oversized Aviator) so I plan a look from day to night and just bake in the warm sun! If you need help planning or picking out a few staples for your spring/summer wardrobe, we’d love to help you.
