Indie Designers We're Wild About

4.18.2012 WRITTEN BY Ellie How to Wear, T+P Blog Central

We have a sweet spot for indie designers here at Tog + Porter and three San Francisco ladies have caught our eye.

Jennifer Tuton’s clean lines and delicate touches leave us weak in the knees.

Kathy Kamei’s two tone creations are unique as they are beautiful. Slip on one of her cocktail rings for a great conversation starter.

Caitlin Meade and Kyle Quilici are the duo behind M.Stone, a line that will have you feeling cool, even a tad edgy in mere seconds. Inspired by Tahoe, handmade in San Francisco is their motto.

They are all super gorgeous! But I’m really loving Kathy Kemei’s jewelry line. I wear alot of long gold necklaces and bracelets. If I’m in a hurry and my outfit feels boring, I throw on a big gold cuff to spice it up! And she has some great ones!

Definitely! It’s such an awesome way to punch up your look with one big statement piece.

They’re all so unique. Personally, though, I love Jennifer Tuton’s line because the pieces are a little bit more quiet, yet really beautiful. They don’t steal the show, yet…. The three lines are great because they suit different personalities and styles.

I love the SF focus! Do you carry the work of the ladies? I’m looking for pieces I can wear out, but wouldn’t be too much at the office. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Alex

We’re so happy to feature all these gorgeous designers. Work-to-play a gorgeous statement ring like those featured from Kathy are always suitable. The initial necklace from Jennifer’s line is a perfect everyday piece and a long twisted chain necklace from M. Stone would be an easy piece to transition from business suit to silk top and skinny jeans.
