Hot and Dry Summer Days

6.05.2013 WRITTEN BY Camilla Style Guide, T+P Blog Central

The weather report is in and it looks like it’s going to be a long hot dry summer in some regions of the U.S. If these temps look familiar, then this guide is for you. Clearly, you want to keep cool while you are out and about, but when you step inside the cool A/C, a little coverage will be a must. We are especially partial to skater skirts this summer, so during those casual outings, pair a flirty little skirt back to a simple tank, a rolled cuff denim jacket (if required!) and a low wedged gladiator sandal. You’ll feel like a goddess.

Take the same tank to the office with a few key pieces: a bright pencil skirt, pumps, and a fitted blazer (the perfect compliment to this look while in the cool air conditioned conference room).

For those delightful warm summer nights, less is more here. A strapless maxi would fit the bill, or a pair of patterned or crocheted shorts paired back to your simple tank with those heels you’ve been dying to show off.  Could you look any cooler with all of this heat?
