Festive fashion: What to wear on Christmas

12.23.2016 WRITTEN BY Christopher Everett Inspiration, Just for Fun, T+P Blog Central, What to Wear

Christmas is a couple days away, it’s the one time of the year when nobody knows quite how to dress. You want to wear your cozy outfits and not worry about your pants being too snug when you’re with family on the couch, but there’s also an amount of pressure to dress up for the holiday.

Being festive

No matter what your plans are, picking an outfit to wear on Christmas day should be enjoyable. Whether you’re binge watching festive movies, have a full day of family fun or you’re planning on knocking back a few too many glasses of eggnog, there’s no better time to make a festive style statement.

Keeping it casual

If you’re going to go for a glamorous look, choose something that will be flattering even when you’re on your 3rd courses down. Wearing your sparkle, shiny jewel tones and sumptuous velvet on trousers or wearing a hip high dress will definitely do the trick.

Be Comfy

If you can’t resist the temptation of being in your jammies then you’re in luck since bed dressing is no longer restricted to the bedroom. Pajama dressing can remain in constant fashion’s revolving cycle of trends, so much if you want you could pull it off if your family comes over. It’s the one day of the year that nightwear really can work, so be comfy.

There’s plenty to worry about during the holiday season, don’t let your outfit be one of them. Schedule an appointment or request a box now. Let us know what you do to get back on track after the holidays in the comments below.
